Country music star Naomi Judd dead due to mental illnes

Country music star Naomi Judd has died at the age of 76 due to mental illnes, writes Page Six. With their daughter Winona, they created one of the most successful and well-known country music bands, The Judds.
Naomi suffered from severe depression and panic attacks, which she struggled with for many years. Her health problems began back in the 90s at the peak of her fame.
"Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness. We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory, Wynonna and Ashley Judd reported.
