Chris Evans called LGBT relationship critics in 'Lightyear’ as 'idiots'
He hopes such people "die off like dinosaurs."
Chris Evans called homophobes who criticized gay kissing in his new movie Lightyear idiots. The 41-year-old actor voiced the lead role in the Toy Story spin-off.
Disney and Pixar showed a kiss between two female characters in the animated film.
"The real truth is those people are idiots. There's always going to be people who are afraid and unaware and trying to hold on to what was before, but those people die off like dinosaurs. I think the goal is to pay them no mind, march forward and embrace the growth that makes us human," People quoted him as saying.
