A friendly conversation helped the "Hangover" star cope with his addiction.

Bradley Cooper revealed who helped him cope with his addiction to cocaine and alcohol 20-odd years ago. It turns out Will Arnett was the right friend who gave the necessary signal that saved Cooper.

"Will took that risk of having that hard conversation with me in, like, July of 2000, and that put me on a path of deciding to change my life. It truly was Will Arnett - he is the reason," Page Six quoted Bradley as saying.

Cooper, 47, recalled how Will acknowledged Bradley was "a real a**hole" back then.
