She did it in just one night.

Dolly Parton revealed that her two biggest hits Jolene and I Will Always Love You have an unusual origin story. It turns out she wrote both songs in just one night.

Parton admitted that she still doesn't remember everything about that night. She was sitting in the corner of the couch by the fireplace in the first house she and her husband, Carl, bought, and the lyrics just came to her mind, Insider informs.

"I just remember that den having so much atmosphere to write. There was just something about that fireplace, the coziness, and that corner. The one corner of the couch where I was always sitting with my feet up, writing and singing my songs," she remembered.
