Fraudsters were trying to raise at least $1 million.

Fake fundraising pages appeared on the GoFundMe platform to raise money for Amber Heard to pay off Johnny Depp. The scammers tried to raise at least $1 million, claiming that Amber would have direct access to the money.

"I believe Amber, and social media protected the abuser. The judgment exceeds her net worth. It's so sad that he was able to get away with the abuse. The judgment furthers that abuse. If you can please help her," the page description said.

However, GoFundMe representatives told me that all such pages are fake. None of them had contacted Heard or her lawyers. So GoFundMe has removed such pages before they raise large sums of money, and will continue to look and remove them, TMZ writes.
