Federal prosecutors in New York said that R. Kelly deserves more than 25 years in prison. The singer was convicted of racketeering, sexual exploitation of a child and sex trafficking. They also recommended to fined him between $50,000 to $250,000.
Prosecutors claimed R. Kelly didn’t remorse. They told the singer thought his musical talent absolved him of any need to control himself, CNN reported.
