The musician will soon begin to undergo treatment.

Former Oasis guitarist and Liam Gallagher bandmate Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs has been diagnosed with tonsil cancer. The musician said that he is canceling upcoming concerts because he needs urgent treatment.

On Twitter, the 56-year-old Oasis star explained that he would probably not be able to take part in the summer concerts.

"I've been diagnosed with tonsil cancer, but the good news is it's treatable and I'll be starting a course of treatment soon. I'll keep you posted how it's going, I'm gutted I'm missing the gigs with Liam and the band. Have the best summer and enjoy the gigs if you're going," he reassured the fans.
