The two-part film told the personal life of the famous standup comedian.

Judd Apatow has released a new two-part film, George Carlin's American Dream, about the life of the famous standup comedian. It reveals the secrets of the late Carlin's personal life, as well as revealing his personal archives.

The author of the film said that he was lucky because George lived a long life and also liked to keep things. Even his love letters, post-its and notebooks with all of his jokes were available to him, says NYP.

"What's interesting is that he changed styles five times. He really was like the Madonna of comedy," Apatow said.
