'He will be sorely missed': Friends star Mike Hagerty dies aged 67

Actor Mike Hagerty, who played memorable roles in TV shows including Friends and films such as Overboard, has died. He was 67, Hello! reports.

Hagerty's friend and Somebody Somewhere costar Bridget Everett announced the news of his death in a post shared on social media Friday.

"A beloved character actor, his love of his hometown of Chicago and his family were the cornerstones of his life."

"He will be sorely missed," his costar added. A cause of death has not yet been revealed.
