'This is a huge step': 'Doctor Who' sound spin-off to star trans actress
The 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker will also appear on the BBC Sounds series.
BBC Sounds is launching a Doctor Who spin-off that will feature some familiar faces like 13th Doctor Jodie. In the new podcast, the lead role of Cleo will be voiced by Charlie Craggs, a trans actress.
"This is a huge step for the trans community, and I’m so honoured to be part of this moment," said Charlie.
The three main characters will try to find out the truth about the "Blue Box" — perhaps it was an alien ship? In addition, some recognizable monsters from the original show will appear in the series. Doctor Who: Edited will be available on April 17th, informs Metro.
