Jennifer Lopez explained why she cried when she didn't win the Oscar for 'Hustlers'
The actress had high hopes for the award and was really upset.
Jennifer Lopez admitted that she was really looking forward to winning the Oscar for the movie Hustlers. She was very upset when she was left with only a Film Academy nominee, and tears welled up in her eyes.
A new Netflix documentary, Halftime, showed footage from that 2019 Oscar ceremony. The actress revealed that she was confident about the award.
"The truth is I really started to think I was going to get nominated. I got my hopes up because so many people were telling me I would be and then it didn't happen," she said in the biopic.
