Justin Timberlake is likely to replace Hugh Jackman in Broadway musical
The musician could take the role of Professor Harold Hill in "The Music Man."
The producers of the Broadway musical The Music Man are in talks with Justin Timberlake. They, according to sources, want to offer him the role of Professor Harold Hill, previously played by Hugh Jackman.
Timberlake, despite his brilliant career as a musician, does not have much experience in movies or musicals. He did great in the role in The Social Network, but if the 41-year-old musician takes on the role on Broadway, he will have a tough time.
"The Music Man" was supposed to premiere back in the fall of 2020, but it was pushed back almost two years because of the coronavirus pandemic, Page Six writes.
