Kate Middleton and Prince William want to move closer to the Queen in Windsor. Their previous plans to move into the Adelaide cottage have been cancelled. Instead, the royal couple are likely to move into the "Big House" on the Windsor Estate, as Prince Charles will not use it as often when he becomes king.

Kate and William will keep their apartments at Kensington Palace, and will also regularly use Anmer Hall.

"They really like it there, it's their happy place," William's friend told The Sunday Times.
