Netflix canceled Meghan Markle's animated series 'Pearl'

Netflix canceled the creation of the animated series Pearl, created by Meghan Markle. This was the latest in a series of steps to save money for the company, which had money problems due to the loss of subscribers, Cosmoreports.

The series Pearl was supposed to tell about the adventures of a 12-year-old girl who was inspired by influential women from history. It was produced by Archiwall Productions, a company founded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Netflix has confirmed that it will continue to work on a number of projects with Archewell Productions, including the previously announced documentary series "Heart of Invictus".
