Prince William takes the salute at the Colonel's Review – the last rehearsal before big date
An important moment in celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next week.

On Saturday, the Duke of Cambridge took on the role of host of Colonel's Review, a military rehearsal for the upcoming Queen's birthday parade Trooping the Colour.
As part of his royal duties, William had to walk past the Irish Guards, ready for an important moment in celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next week.
“The purpose of seeing the colonel is to decide if they are ready for Her Majesty,” an army source tells PEOPLE.
