It is not known if this was a one-time action or if the director has found a new vocation.

Cult director Quentin Tarantino has made a new turn in his career. Suddenly a new one was added to all his film professions - he co-wrote the song for Paolo Nutini's breakout album.

Tarantino is listed as the author of Afterneath, the first track on the Scottish singer's first album in eight years, Last Night In The Bittersweet. However, it turned out to be a little simpler, Nutini used a passage from his 1993 film True Romance in the song.

"Paolo is a big film fan and the section used in the song really resonated with him. Quentin never usually signs off on stuff like this but Paolo sent him the track and it turned out that he loved it and he gave the go-ahead," a source told The Sun.
