Rapper Pooh Shiesty sentenced to 5 years in prison for gun possession in Florida

Rapper Pooh Shiesty (real name Lontrell Williams Jr.) was sentenced to 63 months (5 years and 3 months) in prison for illegal possession of a weapon in Florida. The 22-year-old musician pleaded guilty, writes TMZ.
He was accused of conspiring to possess firearms to commit violent crimes and drug trafficking. The rapper faced up to 20 years in prison, but the court commuted the sentence in connection with a plea deal.
In addition, the prosecutor's office dropped one of the charges on which the rapper could receive a life sentence.
