Sean Penn officially divorced his wife Leila George

The couple announced their separation almost two years after the wedding.
Actor Sean Penn and Layla George have finalized their divorce nearly two years after they got married. A year ago, they announced that they were separating and began the divorce proceedings, writes US Weekly.
The initiator of the divorce from the 61-year-old actor was a 30-year-old native of Australia. In total, their marriage lasted only one year, before that they met for about 5 years. According to court documents, the decision to divorce was made on Friday, April 22.
Sean has previously stated that he himself ruined his marriage.
