Arizona Cardinals cornerback Jeff Gladney died Monday morning in a car accident in Dallas, Texas. The soccer player was only 25 years old, and details of the fatal accident are not yet known.
Born in Texas, Gladney played for the Minnesota Vikings at No. 32 in 2020, then played for TCU, and after being cut from the Vikings in 2021, he played for the Arizona Cardinals, TMZ writes.
"We are devastated to learn of Jeff Gladney's passing. Our hearts go out to his family, friends and all who are mourning this tremendous loss," the Arizona Cardinals said in an official statement.
