Academy 'split' in halves to decide what to do with Will Smith’s Oscar incident
The actor could lose his award after slapping Chris Rock.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences still couldn’t make a decision about Will Smith’s Oscar award. The 9,000 members are completely split in halves.
"Given, though, that convicted sexual predator Harvey Weinstein and fugitive child rapist Roman Polanski haven’t been stripped of their gongs, the general consensus is that it would be madness and rank hypocrisy to take such a stand now," a source told to The Sun.
He added, that Hollywood has his own laws.
