She was nominated for an Oscar for her role in the movie.

Minnie Driver revealed that Harvey Weinstein, the producer of Good Will Hunting, wanted her out of the project. Matt Damon stepped in for the actress, he insisted that Minnie play the role of Skylar.

Driver recalled that Weinstein very rudely motivated the reason why Minnie should not be in the film. According to the actress, Weinstein hijacked that she wasn't good for the project because "nobody would want to f*** her."

The actress was very worried and felt devastated by these words, but then realized that she shouldn't have to worry about some "pig's" words about her sexuality, TooFab informs.
