One of Hollywood's most recognizable voices — Nehemiah Persoff — has died at 102

The actor is famous for his roles in "The Harder They Fall" and "Some Like It Hot".

SomeLikeItHot star Nehemiah Persoff died at age 102 in San Luis Obispo, California. He left four children and five grandchildren, informs USM.

The actor gained fame on television and in films due to his appearance and recognizable voice. Loved for his roles as gangsters, Persoff had a knack for portraying the "sinister types" of the Prohibition era.

According to relatives, the cause of death was heart failure.
