She also revealed she still has a fear of going on stage.

Mabel admitted that she has been battling glandular fever for two years. The disease, which is caused by the herpes virus, can tragically affect her voice, but the disease has already damaged it.

In addition, the singer said that she has a fear of going on stage. This is because she thinks her voice is not as good as it used to be because of the illness, and it makes her nervous.

"I kept thinking that I had Covid last year, and all my PCRs have come back negative. And then I did loads of tests because I was like constantly tired and really, really swollen throat and just like would even get a fever. It turns out I have a strain of glandular fever that I've had for over two years," Mabel explained to The Sun.
